On a cold and rainy day, only the politicians are running in the commonwealth of Virginia today. It is primary day and the polls are in full operation for both the Republican and Democratic parties.
Every year when it comes voting time, I think THAT particular election is the most important one I have witnessed in my lifetime. Then the next year rolls around and I think the same thing again about that one. I do think this coming election is important on a number of levels and for a variety of ways. It certainly is drawing a lot of attention with the various candidates who have survived thus far. I MUST be important because a number of them have tried to call me on my phone. I wonder how many phone calls are made in this manner to people across the country by these machines.
Today has become rest day for me from running due to the bad weather. I am now thankful that I had built up a margin of miles so that I still am ahead of the pace bunny.
